OAISI is running a range of programmes and events to help students engage with AI safety, some OAISI-specific, some in collaboration with Encode.

Recurring Events

  • Technical Roundtable: A discussion of AI safety research papers, held weekly on Mondays.

  • Governance Roundtable: Conversations on the latest in AI governance and policy, held biweekly on Tuesdays, starting in week 3.

  • Tech & Tea: Informal discussions of AI policy and governance over tea, every other Tuesday, alternating with the governance roundtable.

  • Office Hours: An informal space to drop in, ask questions, and meet the team, held weekly on Thursdays.
